This months The Sneaker Drop: adidas x Pharrell NMD is all about the collaboration between ‘the 3 stripes brand’ and Pharrell Williams on their NMD models.
Pharrell Williams has again collaborated with Adidas Originals to release five more pairs of his signature NMD. Like all NMDs, the boost technology provides endless energy, ultimate comfort with a super light feel. The NMDs upper is made up of Adidas’s own primeknit material in a variety of unique colourways with the bold printed variations of “HU”. (Human Race, Human, Human Species and Human Being).
The stabiliser cage provides a more secure step as well as being used as part of the lacing system. This allows those people with creative minds to lace their sneakers in a variety of ways! One of my favourite parts of the silhouette is the leather heel pull tab as on the right sneaker there is a colourful Trefoil logo and then Pharrell’s equals sign on the left sneaker. The insoles were also a nice touch that Pharrell and the Adidas team added to this NMD.
